Do we need to establish some criteria for what is and what is not child abuse?

A person is an Avatar:-of his parents; his local culture; of humanity at large; of Life as a whole; and of a Soul vis-a-vis God--in increasing scale of generality. Maximum freedom to facilitate growth of that is the goal of each soul, and any serious and significant effect to limit that, is abuse. It is not abusive to raise a child as a general Christian/American, but carrying patriotic chauvinism or religious piety to more than 2 Standard Deviations away from the Norm, could be a good way to start a definition.
