What are some good camera for average person?

I'm going on vacation with my wife next week and i wanna get a good camera.. A camera that under $150. i did some research and it said to look a camera with 5 to 6 mega pixels, 5x optical zoom, Shot stabilization, face detection and shutter speed.. if anybody can help me out i would appreciate it..
