I'm 17 and want to switch to tighty-whiteys, what do u think?

I'm 17, wear boxers, but wanna get some tighty-whiteys (mostly for sports)- i neeeeed support!! Teens especially this is for u- what do u think of a 17 year old who wears tighty whiteys? Would u make fun of him in the locker room? Maybe i should change in private? Btw also: what are good brands of briefs?
