Building a house with brick/vinyl, what color vinyl should I stick with?

I am going with a lighter color brown brick, trying to figure out what color vinyl i should go with to match. The front of the house is all brick except the gables will have vinyl and the sides and back of the house will be vinyl. Should I stick to the color of the brick or go lighter or darker? Going with a light brown weather wood shingle.
