Any clever ideas how to put oil in stubborn dog's ears !?

Catch him asleep! make the drops bottle warm in your hand to lessen the shock, do it in the darkest light so he doesn't see you coming , or when he's sleeping in arms length of you, do one ear this way, then the other next time.
